General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will begin to realize just how deeply troubled Adam (Joshua Benard) is and will want to help. This could escalate into a dangerous situation for them both, so let’s talk about what’s ahead for Adam and Josslyn.

So far, Josslyn knows that Adam’s parents are strict and ridiculously tough on him.

It’s clear that Adam’s mom and dad have set extremely high expectations – not to mention they’re making Adam feel like their love depends on his academic performance.

Adam is also hard on himself, so he has panic attacks and struggles with his mental health.

It seems like Adam is pretty isolated with the exception of when he opens up to Josslyn, so she could become his lifeline in more ways than one.

In the November 2 episode, Adam got upset over a less-than-perfect test score and began exhibiting signs of self-harm.

Since Adam was trying to tug his hair out and inflict his own punishment, it could be a hint that he’ll continue this pattern and escalate that kind of behavior.

Could this build to a situation where Adam tries to end his own life?

Adam is teetering on the edge of mental instability, so he could really go off the rails – especially if his parents lash out like he predicted.

At some point, Adam may feel like he just can’t take it anymore.

It’s easy to imagine Adam feeling hopeless and doing something that he might regret.

GH November sweeps preview spoilers indicate that Josslyn will get pulled further into Adam’s unsettling drama.

The closer Josslyn gets to Adam, the more concerned she’ll be about his mental state and what might happen to him.

Of course, there are a few ways this storyline could go, but it seems like a case of Adam needing more help than he realizes right now.

Josslyn doesn’t grasp the gravity of all this yet, but she will sometime in the coming weeks.

Will Josslyn eventually find Adam plotting a rooftop jump or something along those lines?

Could Josslyn find herself in the difficult position of literally trying to talk Adam off the ledge?

Josslyn may land in danger as well and even risk her own life to rescue Adam.

Things can quickly go wrong in soapy scenarios like that, so Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) might have to intervene and save Josslyn if she perhaps gets too close to the edge.

Then again, it’s possible Josslyn will find Adam after an overdose or catch him planning to end his life another way.

No matter how this plays out, Josslyn will want to help Adam find a better path forward.
