John J. York Reveals GH Exit – Shares Mac Scorpio Hiatus News
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that John J. York (Mac Scorpio) recently made a big announcement on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. York just wanted to give fans updates on his status as Mac Scorpio since it’ll be changing soon.
It turns out York needs to take a little time off, so he explained that in his latest post. York filled viewers in on his decision to exit temporarily, so let’s look at what he had to say.
“Hey kiddos, just want to let you know that I will be taking a brief hiatus from the show in a few weeks,” York said. “I’m in the process of getting some important information. So hang tight, and I’ll be in touch”
That message left some fans concerned that something might be wrong, so York’s been getting supportive replies and words of encouragement – just in case there’s a reason to worry.
Although York didn’t go into the details of this important info or the exact reason for his temporary departure, it seems like it could actually be good news!

York included a grinning face emoji with smiling eyes at the end of his post, so he may be working on a fun side project or something more personal that’s cause for celebration.
