General Hospital spoilers claim Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has yet to pay for opening his big mouth — to almost everyone he knows.

For some reason, he’s not afraid of everybody knowing he’s been acting as an informant for the FBI for more than two years now.

The entire time that everyone he knows and loves thought he was dead, he was alive and unable to safely contact them to tell them the truth.

Blowing his cover wasn’t an option, but he took that opportunity as soon as he could when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had a gun pointed at his back on the pier.

Was that truly Jason looking out for Dante and hoping that turning himself in would prevent gunfire, or was Jason making the best of his one shot to out himself as being alive?

Either way, he is confessing left and right, and we can’t help but question what Federal Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) will make of that.

General Hospital Spoilers — Loose Lips Sink Ships

Jason hasn’t hesitated to tell everyone the truth, although not everyone knows exactly how he came to become an informant for the FBI, nor that Jagger was involved in it from the start and still is. B

ut his confession to Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) left fans wondering if he and Anna will now work together to mend the situation.

After all, Jagger’s leverage on Jason is still out in the ether and presumably a threat. If he says “Jump!,” will Jason have no choice but to listen?

GH Spoilers Hint Anna and Jason May Be Setting Him Up

While Jason has also told Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) — in the presence of Ava Jerome (Maura West), Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), and Dante the truth about what he’s been up to, he hasn’t looped them in on why he agreed to work with the FBI, or that it was Jagger who put this in motion and later pretended he had no knowledge of the planned shooting on the warehouse roof.

Anna was furious to find Jagger had played her like a fool, and she may be intent on seeking justice in that regard by using Jason to set Jagger up. At the same time, it could work to Jason’s advantage and get him out of the hot water Jagger has had him in all this time.

General Hospital Spoilers — What Comes Next?

Jagger wasn’t thrilled when he learned Jason turned around and saw Dante, much less that he phoned 9-1-1 and knew that recording would identify him.

Leaving his DNA-tainted sweatshirt wrapped around Dante was also seemingly another clue Jason dropped — and Jagger saw right through it. He knows Jason betrayed him, even if he had a legitimate cover story that was equally as valid.

Jason knew the truth was going to come out that he was alive, and Jagger knew he knew that and likely wanted it. It’s not likely that Jagger will care one bit about the new cover story Jason will need when Jagger tells him it’s time to move on from Port Charles and keep up his informant work.
