General Hospital Spoilers indicate Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has enough on her plate with wedding plans, her daughter’s cancer recovery, and attempts to mend fences with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).

The very last thing she needs is excess drama, but that’s just what Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) had delivered to her.

Waltzing through the door of Nina’s office with claims of a life and death level threat in their midst, Gladys painted a picture of Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) in dire straits.

From what Nina has heard from Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and others, that’s not an embellishment.

But what no one knows is that Gladys is the cause for Sasha’s troubles — and no one expected Gladys to partially clue Nina in the way she did.

Gladys needs money to pay off Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) to get Sadha out of Ferncliff, and she thinks Nina is the person to dish out the loot. But what about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)?

Gladys might make it clear to Nina that she doesn’t want any favors from Sonny, but she will have to have some pretty convincing reasons to back that up.

Citing his connections to the mob and how she would rather not get mixed up in any of it could sound reasonable enough to naive Nina — who is only just now coming to terms with the kind of life her man lives.

Nina has plenty of money to spare and knows Sasha is good for it, too. But having her assets frozen at a time like this could pose a risk to Sasha’s treatment at Ferncliff and that’s the last thing Nina wants.

Gladys may continue to play on Nina’s affections and shared past with Sasha to get her right where she needs her to be — reaching for her checkbook to pay off this nasty ransom.

Between Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) involvement alongside Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), and Brook Lynn’s pending suspicion of Gladys’ involvement, Sonny’s own suspicion could be pointed in his cousin’s direction soon.

That’s the last thing Gladys needs, and she knows securing this secret between herself and Nina now will make it more likely that Nina won’t want to reveal it to the don later — having to admit she kept it from him.
