Drew Will Have Competition for Carly’s Love, But Not From Sonny – Jason Morgan Returns?
General Hospital Spoilers spill fans have been drooling over the potential for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to reunite soon, but rumor has it that’s not in the cards — at all. Don’t lose faith, though.
Fans are itching to see Carly kick up some dust and take part in a wild love affair, and that’s a real possibility. Rumors of Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) are never infrequent in the GH gossip circuit, but the latest rumor has a shred of evidence attached — if you want to see it, that is.
What would it look like if he did return now — nearly two years after his untimely presumed death in a pile of rubble? A lot has changed back home, and while Carly is no longer beholden to Sonny, she has fallen in love with someone else — Jason’s twin brother, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Was Drew just a placeholder all of this time when Carly thought she couldn’t possibly have the real thing?
General Hospital Spoilers — Jason May Not Have Died
They told us Jason died in that rocky cave that crumbled upon him. They assured us that even Stone Cold couldn’t have survived the weight of that debris. But we know better, and we’ve seen this before.
Moreover, Jason’s death has never truly been confirmed. So, is it possible he escaped the collapse altogether? If so, where has he been? Is he hiding out intentionally and leaving Sonny in the lurch all of this time?
That’s not likely. Perhaps he was kidnapped again and is being held against his will. Is that what Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and the Pikeman Group are really up to?
GH Spoilers Tease Time is Ticking on Steve’s DOOL Contract
An Instagram post recently revealed that more than half of the year Steve signed on for with DOOL has passed, and he hasn’t renewed yet.
GH fans are dying to know if that’s an intentional move on his part because Steve Burton has every intention of coming back to GH now that the COVID-19 vaccine mandate has been dropped.
He seemed to leave his relationships with the cast and crew at GH in far better shape than his former castmate Ingo Rademacher (Jasper ‘Jax’ Jacks) did.
Would they all be open to his return?

If Jason is headed home, we’ll be on the edges of our seats waiting for him and Carly to lay eyes on one another again.
Drew is locked up in Pentonville, and we’ve had the feeling for a while now that Carly is going to find herself drawn to someone else — and feeling guilty about it because Drew is only locked up because he took the fall for her.
This leads us to believe Drew isn’t getting out of prison anytime soon. Furthermore, when Sonny came back from Nixon Falls and interrupted Carly and Jason’s rendezvous, they were forced to table their feelings.
With Carly and Sonny now farther apart than ever, would Jason feel any more comfortable with moving in on his own brother’s romantic territory?
