Dex’s Dangerous New Enemy – Sonny’s Right-Hand Man Targeted?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) could become a target for multiple reasons, so let’s talk about what’s in store. For starters, Dex is Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) right-hand man and someone who’s become quite valuable to Sonny’s organization.

When Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) first debuted on the show and went after Sonny, one of his first goals was to wipe out Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Cyrus figured it’d be easier to take out Sonny that way, so he made Jason a target.

Of course, things didn’t go according to plan, but that doesn’t change the way Cyrus saw the situation or the danger that Jason was in early on.

Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) hinted to Ava Jerome (Maura West) about his boss wanting Sonny’s demise, so that’s undoubtedly still a goal that Cyrus is pursuing.

Cyrus may have a similar thought process when it comes to Dex and decide it’ll be easier to get rid of Sonny if he leaves him vulnerable.

That could mean Dex will land in grave danger ahead of whatever larger plot Cyrus has in mind for Sonny.

Now that Sonny has avoided prison and ruined that part of Cyrus’ plan, he may resort to some truly risky backup strategies.

GH spoilers say Austin will put Dex through a grilling session during the week of October 16-20, so he may have questions about Dex and Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) search for missing Ava answers.

It’s probably not a good sign that Austin and Dex are going to be interacting.

That just means another connection to Cyrus and bolsters the idea that Dex could end up becoming his target at some point.

GH fans will recall that Dex came on the scene as a plant in Sonny’s organization.

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) hired Dex to help put Sonny behind bars before changing his mind, which led to Dex becoming a legit employee for Sonny.

You can bet Sonny won’t be happy if the whole truth comes out, but it’d help Dex’s case if he lands in another life-threatening situation and sacrifices himself for Sonny’s sake.
