Cyrus Ordered Drew’s Harsh Punishment – Shady Judge Works for Dangerous Boss?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) attempt to get Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) out of Pentonville could lead to some big secrets unraveling. Once Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) heard Carly’s plea, she agreed to look into whether the judge might have a history of bias.
Diane’s going to dig into some past cases involving Judge Albert Kim (Kurt Yue), so she may find they have something surprising in common.
Will Diane discover Judge Kim’s potential connection to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober)?
There’s a chance that once Diane and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) put their heads together, they’ll be able to figure out there’s a Cyrus link in cases where Judge Kim has ruled unfairly one way or the other.
GH spoilers say Diane will indeed grow curious over a discovery later this week.
It could easily lead Diane down a trail that ends with Cyrus either paying off Judge Kim or coercing him into ruling the way he wants.
Drew thought Judge Kim would approve his plea deal for a six-month stay at Spring Ridge.
Instead, Judge Kim forced Drew to do three years at Pentonville, where Cyrus gave him a warm welcome right away.
Cyrus was expecting Drew from day one, so it seems likely he’s responsible for ordering his harsh punishment in the first place.
It appears Cyrus wanted to keep Drew close as part of a strategy against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Drew was tied to Sonny back when he thought he was Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) – not to mention he’s romantically involved with Sonny’s ex-wife now.
Cyrus knows Sonny will be looking out for Drew while he’s locked up, so this must all be part of Cyrus’ game somehow.
Perhaps Cyrus holds a grudge over his past rivalry with Sonny and is plotting to take his spot doing lucrative business with Pikeman.
All of that would give Cyrus more than enough motivation to have Drew unfairly sentenced and thrown in Pentonville so they could be fellow inmates.
