General Hospital Spoilers: Cyrus Is Done With Ava, But Mason And Nik May Have Other Plans
General Hospital spoilers hint Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) didn’t mince words when he ordered Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) to take care of Ava Jerome (Maura West). Alongside a cliffside brawl between Mason and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), Ava barely made it out of there by the skin of her teeth, and with much thanks to Dex, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), and Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Ava might think her troubles are behind her as long as Mason is out of the picture, but she couldn’t be more wrong. Cyrus was just step one of Mason’s plan — and he is very much in control of what happens to Ava next.
General Hospital Spoilers — Cyrus Renault Loses Out
Mason has been shot and is in surgery. Cyrus has no choice but to play the hand he’s been dealt for the time being, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be defenseless now that he’s landed squarely back in Port Charles as a free man.
If Mason can’t be his ally and enforcer, then he may expect Dr. Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) to rise to the occasion.
Whether Austin will give into his demands is anyone’s guess, but it’s likely that we haven’t really seen the extent to which Austin’s compassion and sense of obligation to Cyrus really flows just yet. Regardless, Ava is safe — for now.
GH Spoilers – Leak Mason Gatlin Has An Offer On The Table
Rumor has it Mason is going to make good on promises made to Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) that most of us aren’t yet aware of.
It may have always been Mason’s intention to make it look like he killed Ava when he was really planning to exchange her for some hefty Cassadine compensation.
Nikolas can’t come back to Port Charles without being arrested, but that doesn’t mean he can’t have some low-life like Mason bringing her to him wherever he is across the pond.
Cyrus would never have to be any wiser. He could have thought Mason disposed of Ava all along when no one ever saw her again.
General Hospital Spoilers — The Great Ava Caper, Take Two?
When Mason is back on his feet, Ava will be just as at risk as she ever was. Certainly, Nikolas won’t have any luck using Austin as a means of getting to Ava — even if the guy agrees to do some of Cyrus’ bidding in the meantime until his cousin is on the mend.
When Mason is recovered, we can expect he will be out to abscond away with Ava all over again — and this time, he will be better prepared. Will Nikolas show Ava any mercy? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
