Ava’s Cliff Crisis in Pautuck – Mason Threatens to Throw Hostage Over the Edge
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) will force Ava Jerome (Maura West) into a car and insist they’re going for a little drive. Ava has been trapped in a basement, but she’ll grow even more fearful once Mason shoves her into the backseat of his vehicle and drives her to the edge of a cliff in Pautuck.
From there, Mason will await further instructions from Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), so that’ll give Ava a chance to panic in the meantime.
Ava will plead for her life and even resort to flirting with Mason as she tries to get him to spare her.
Of course, Mason may not be the brightest guy around, but he’ll know a desperate move when he sees one.
GH spoilers say Mason will lash out at Ava and refuse to buy her attempts to sweet-talk him.
After Cyrus gets in touch with Mason and admits he’d like to keep Ava alive after all, that’ll put Mason in a tight spot.
Disobeying the boss’ orders could get Mason in serious trouble, but he’ll also worry about Ava going to the cops or Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) with what he’s done.
Ava will frantically promise to smooth things over with Sonny and make sure Mason walks out of this unscathed, but he’ll have no reason to believe her.
The walls will start closing in on Mason as his anger toward Ava boils over.
That’ll be a bad combination when they’re standing right next to a cliff! Mason will be in a dangerous frame of mind, so he’ll ultimately decide to go against Cyrus and send Ava plummeting to a grim fate anyway.
There’ll be some terrifying moments for Ava, but we all know she’ll survive this shocking ordeal. It’s just a matter of how Ava will wiggle out of trouble.
