Week of September 4 – Dante Accuses Michael of Sonny’s Takedown – Nina Faces Grim Warning

General Hospital (GH) spoilers preview video for the week of September 4-8 reveals that questions will remain about who turned Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in and what their motives are.

The weekly preview promo kicks off with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) breaking bad news to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in the aftermath of Sonny’s arrest.

Carly will seek the truth from Michael and briefly consider the possibility that he moved forward with his revenge on Sonny after all.

However, Michael will insist he’s innocent before the focus shifts to another suspect – namely Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

After Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) informs Josslyn that someone turned Sonny in, Josslyn will land on the hot seat with Carly.

There’ll be concerns about Joss potentially taking matters into her own hands, so Carly will ask if Josslyn sent the feds after Sonny.

Josslyn will remind Carly that the flash drive was destroyed, so she didn’t have evidence she could use against Sonny anyway.

Regardless, Josslyn may argue that she wouldn’t have gone behind everyone’s back like that with a rogue move.

GH’s weekly preview video also features an angry Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) confronting Michael and demanding answers about whether he turned their father in to the feds.

Michael will deny any accusations that Dante hurls his way, but it’s not unreasonable for Dante to think his brother could be responsible for this.

Dante has every right to grill Michael after the way he treated Sonny during their feud.

Perhaps Dante will worry that Michael only backed off to lull Sonny into a false sense of security and set him up for his downfall.

That said, Michael truly seems to be innocent, so Dante may have to keep looking for the truth about Sonny’s legal issues and who’s behind them.

Next in the weekly promo, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) warns Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) that she’s vulnerable along with Sonny’s children now that he’s under fire.

Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) can be seen looking emotional in the preview video as well, so she’ll no doubt be a mess over Sonny’s arrest.

One of the feds involved will insist Sonny isn’t getting away this time, but Sonny will play it cool and refuse to answer questions during his interrogation.

Sonny will wait for Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), who’ll come running to represent him after she gets updates on the situation.

Of course, we should point out that Sonny was firmly against doing any more Pikeman shipments until they figured out who was behind the attempt on his life at the warehouse.

Why would Sonny suddenly change his mind and put a rush on this new Pikeman shipment now?

We also can’t forget about the planted delivery schedule that Sonny put in Betty Rutherford’s (Ella Lentini) hands – the very same schedule that no doubt made Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) so sure that Sonny was going down.

It just feels like Sonny has orchestrated all this himself and took a calculated risk as part of his masterplan.

Sonny will make a confession to Carly and face some backlash down the road, so he could easily admit to setting all this arrest drama in motion.

Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will prove he’s still the boss as this storyline heats up!
