General Hospital comings and goings confirm Chad Duell is out again as Michael Corinthos – but there is no shortage of drama for his character.

Things are about to get heavy for the Corinthos family on GH. Also, a familiar face returns and a new character shakes things up. Now, take a look at the latest casting changes for the ABC sudser.

General Hospital Comings and Goings: Chad Duell Exits – Michael Corinthos Recast

Coming up on GH, Robert Adamson steps back into the role of Michael Corinthos. Recently, Adamson filled in for Chad Duell in a few scenes. And soon, the Young and the Restless alum steps back in for six episodes of the ABC soap.

Adam won General Hospital fans over right away and did a wonderful job as Michael Corinthos. But it was certainly intense for the Y&R vet because the scenes coming up for Michael are heavy.

In fact, Chad’s co-star, Cameron Mathison, who plays Drew – said he and Chad Duell have never had scenes so heavy. So, it’ll be interesting to see the recast Michael Corinthos with a new face for this heavy material.

When actor Mathison read these General Hospital scenes, he said, “Man, Chad really has a lot.” Then, he realized Robert Adamson was taking over again as Michael. And he was amazed because there was a ton of dialogue.

Plus, Robert had to shoot six days’ worth of episodes as Michael Corinthos in just three days. But, Cameron raved that Adamson did a great job and said the recast actor’s attitude was great. Of course, he’s an old pro from his Y&R days.

Duell’s absence is due to COVID, but he’ll return shortly. In the meantime, General Hospital viewers can expect things to get explosive for Michael in the coming episodes.

GH Cast Update: Boy Scout Wyatt Returns All Grown-up

General Hospital casting updates promise that Patrick Gibbons returns as Wyatt, who was a boy scout with the Port Charles Pioneers. Fans may recall that Wyatt helped rescue now-dead Peter August (Wes Ramsey) back in the day.

That’s when he was Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) hostage. More recently, the youngster popped back up when Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) fell out of an airplane.

It was Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) plot to get Liesl back. The boy had a hand in helping get Scotty to safety. Now, the boy scout is much older and a camp counselor for the PC Pioneers.

Wyatt is Violet Finn’s (Jophielle Love) camp counselor, and all the kids look up to him. Patrick is ecstatic over his character update. Plus, he’s thrilled to reunite with his former One Life to Live co-stars Michael Easton and Roger Howarth.

Soon, Hamilton Finn and his dad Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison), take all the kids camping, where they run into Wyatt. Indeed, it will be nice to see him back on the General Hospital scene.
