Port Charles will be the home of two new characters this week, as Kody Kavitha and Virginia Ma have landed recurring roles on General Hospital. The casting news was first reported by Soap Opera Digest and the characters will appear in scenes with Laura Wright’s Carly and Cynthia Watros’ Nina, as well as various others.

Fans can first expect to see Ma on Tuesday, April 2, when she makes her daytime debut as Nina’s new assistant, Madison. The actress played Flynn in 2024’s thriller Final Heist and prior to that turned up on Magnum P.I. and The Thundermans, to name a few of her projects.

As for Kavitha… She landed the role of Hunter, the new manager Carly has hired to run Bobbie’s. She’ll punch her timecard for duty beginning on Thursday, April 4, and having her in charge of the waterfront diner will likely free up time for Carly to reconnect with Jason. Though this is also the actress’ first daytime role, she appeared in the primetime teen drama 90210 and turned up on S.W.A.T. last year, as well as on Awkward.
