Chad Duell Welcomes Baby Boy: ‘It’s Been Quite a Journey’
Fans have been waiting for news on the birth of General Hospital actor Chad Duell’s (Michael) firstborn and now the wait is over. The actor just shared first-glimpse photos of his precious little son, Dawson, who he and girlfriend Luana Lucci welcomed to the world on Wednesday, August 30.
“Welcome to the world lil Dawson,” Duell shared. “Been quite the journey… Can’t wait to see the great man you become.”
The first in the series of photos was of the proud parents with Duell holding his son followed by a pic of Lucci cradling and smiling down at her little bundle of joy all dressed in blue. Then came a solo shot of sweet Dawson with the last picture consisting of the family of three with Duell having some fun with the camera.
Lucci also posted some pics, which included a few of Duell holding his son, as well as a sweet video of the new proud papa with Dawson.
“August 30th, a date that changed our lives forever,” Lucci expressed. “Our little one has arrived, filling our hearts with boundless love and joy.”
Fans quickly jumped into the comments to send out their congratulations and if you’ve followed Duell and Lucci’s pregnancy journey, you’re aware that things haven’t been the smoothest for the couple. Back in May, Lucci opened up about their high-risk pregnancy and disclosed why her “pregnancy journey has been far from easy.”
