When Nurse Whitley was hauled away after almost killing Lani on Days of Our Lives, we thought we had seen the last her of. However, the latest spoilers for the Peacock soap reveal that isn’t the case. The deranged nurse who had become obsessed with Salem’s mayor Abe is coming back! Viewers can expect the phenomenal entertainer, Kim Coles to reprise the role in the October 31, 2023, episode. Does that mean Abe and Paulina’s nightmare isn’t over yet?
Previously, on Days of Our Lives, Abe landed in the hospital after suffering a head injury that cost him his memory. Unfortunately, even before got a chance to recover from his injuries, Nurse Whitley abducted him. She held him hostage in her house under the ruse of them being a couple. However, eventually, Abe started to feel that something was off. Thanks to Lani, his family and the police were able to rescue him from Whitley. Later, it was revealed that Whitley actually used to be Marlena’s psych patient, after suffering a meltdown upon losing her husband.
Will Whitley Haunt Abe Again in Days of Our Lives?
The cray-cray cat lady was perhaps trying to fill the hole left by her husband with Abe. Although he was eventually rescued, his memories have still not come back. Abe and Paulina are still struggling with their marriage, because Abe can’t remember them being a much-in-love couple. So what would Whitley’s return to Days of Our Lives mean at this point? As of now, there have been no spoilers indicating what storyline Whitley will have upon her return. However, there is a possibility that she might make an appearance in the Halloween episode. Owing to the fact that she truly was a terror for Abe and Paulina!
Which also makes us wonder, could seeing her again somehow trigger Abe’s memories? The memory loss track has been on for a painfully long time. And honestly speaking there feels no more scope in Abe and Paulina’s story until he gets his memories back.
