Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Will The Devil Re-Appear In Salem For This Halloween Season?
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers hint that fans should always expect the unexpected in Salem. From baby switch storylines to evil twins and doppelgangers, plus, dead characters coming back to life, Days tends to be the most over-the-top daytime drama out of the four currently in existence.
Probably one of the crazier arcs in DOOL’s history was the Devil possessing Marlena Evans (Diedre Hall), among other Salemites in town. Could the vile one be returning in the weeks leading up to Halloween?
Days Of Our Lives spoilers – A Wicked Wind Is Brewing …
Days spoilers for the week of October 23rd suggest that something wicked is making its way to Salem. A very cryptic teaser, which could mean anything from a villain/villainess return or possibly a plaque hitting the little town.
Still, as the spoiler is ominous without anyone (or anything) attached to it, so, could it be that the Devil is set to make a comeback?
It doesn’t mean that a Satan storyline would run for months or even weeks for that matter. Possibly something short and spooky to get fans in the mood for the holiday.
DOOL Spoilers – Fans Don’t Like The Devil …
Still, while fans were slightly excited back in 2021 when the show teased that the Devil would be returning to Salem, things got boring and cheesy, fast. After all, Marlena’s possession in 1995 was a storyline that was intriguing at first but then dragged on and on.
The same could be said about the Evil One’s last run. In fact, when Marlena, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) ended up in purgatory earlier this year, frustrated viewers unitedly announced that “enough was enough” where the Devil was concerned.
The Devil’s possession was sort of a unique idea in the ‘90s and bringing it back in 2021 gave fans a dose of nostalgia.
Still, if the arc were to return for Halloween 2023, would fans roll their eyes or realize it may be part of a spook-tacular special for the show?
