Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Victoria’s Illness Derails Xander & Sarah’s New Year’s Eve

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will make a troubling discovery right as New Year’s Eve arrives in Salem. The show will be celebrating the holiday a little early since New Year’s Eve falls on a weekend this year, so look for the festivities to kick off on December 29.

That’s when Sarah will pay Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) a visit – perhaps in preparation for one of their usual share custody handoffs.

It’s even possible Sarah will plan to pick Victoria Cook up and place her in a babysitter’s care soon after. That would allow Sarah to enjoy a special night alone with Xander for New Year’s Eve.

Days spoilers say it’d be a big step romantically, but it might be something Sarah and Xander are both ready for.

Xander and Sarah might hope to hit the glamorous party that’s happening at The Bistro later.

Regardless, Sarah and Xander seem destined for a quiet night in due to Victoria’s sudden illness. Days spoilers say Victoria will come down with a fever, so Sarah will make that discovery and alert Xander.

Of course, Sarah is a doctor, so she might be a bit calmer about Victoria getting sick than Xander is. It’s easy to imagine Xander flipping out in protective, scared Daddy mode.

Sarah may have to be the one to calm Xander down and suggest it’ll be fine as long as they monitor Victoria closely.

Then again, sometimes it’s different when it’s your own child who gets sick. Sarah is no doubt rational when it comes to infant patients at the hospital, but she might freak out over her own baby’s illness.

Either way, Days spoilers say Xander and Sarah will tackle this crisis as a team. It’ll be a good opportunity for Sarah and Xander to bond with Victoria under the same roof.

It sounds like Sarah will stay overnight and help Xander watch over Victoria, so DOOL fans can expect some close moments between them.

This should also lead to Xander asking Sarah to move in permanently, so feverish Victoria will accidentally play Cupid for her mom and dad!
