Thursday, August 31 – Leo Poses as Dimitri’s Wife – Xander’s Stunning Discovery – Belle Begs Brady

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, August 31, reveal that Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) will have his doubts about Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) big idea. Dimitri doesn’t want Gwen von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien) to know he married her for the inheritance, but he still needs to present a wife to Elliot Roth (Darren Richardson) and convince him this union is legit.

That’s why Leo has offered to play the part of Gwen and be a fake wife for Dimitri. It sounds like Leo will plan to don a wig and some feminine attire before meeting Mr. Roth.

Leo can make his voice sound womanly and perhaps convince this barrister to give Dimitri the funds that he’s entitled to in the codicil. Despite Dimitri’s concerns, Leo may assure his boyfriend that he can pull off this charade.

Meanwhile, Days spoilers say Gwen will await answers now that Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) made a wrong assumption. When Kristen saw that Gwen was upset after smashing a pitcher, she assumed Dimitri must’ve told Gwen everything.

Kristen will have some explaining to do since Gwen’s wondering what the heck she’s talking about! It’ll bring a close call, but it looks like Kristen will manage to cover her blunder.

Other Days spoilers say Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) will try to build on the progress they’ve made. Stefan found out from Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) that Dimitri has been having sleepovers with someone on the side.

Gabi also found out from Elliot Roth that Dimitri’s inheriting a boatload of money due to his speedy marriage, so Stefan and Gabi assume Kristen is blackmailing Dimitri for a cut.

Now Gabi and Stefan are determined to find out who Dimitri’s sleeping with so they can score some leverage of their own. Of course, Stefan and Gabi think they’re looking for another woman, so they’re in for a shock when the truth about Leo inevitably spills.

Next on Thursday’s DOOL episode, Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) will beg Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) not to press charges against Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier), who’s expressed deep remorse for framing Brady when he wasn’t in his right mind.

Belle will argue that Brady needs to take Philip’s fractured mental state into account and cut him some slack – especially since the Kiriakis family is already dealing with Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) demise and imminent funeral.

As for Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), Days spoilers say he’ll make a stunning discovery about Philip, so that may involve a surprise encounter.

Chloe will also offer updates on Philip’s attempt to make amends, so she may urge Xander not to make things more difficult for him.
