Sloan’s Wedding Day Downfall – Bride Reels as Eric Learns Paternity Truth?
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) will have a hard time coping with the guilt of what she’s keeping under wraps. Now that Sloan has lost the baby, she knows she’s also lost the forever connection she was hoping to have with Eric Brady (temporarily played by Jason Gerhardt).
It’s doubtful Eric would’ve forgiven Sloan even if the baby had survived, but it’s even less likely she’ll earn forgiveness without that baby bond. Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) helped Sloan see that she’d ruin her future with Eric if she came clean, so now Sloan once again plans to keep quiet.
However, Days spoilers say that’ll be easier said than done as Sloan’s guilt worsens in the coming weeks.
Sloan rigged the DNA test and changed the genetic testing results, so she’s gone to great lengths to keep Eric from knowing he’s the father of Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) child.
During the week of September 4-8, DOOL spoilers say Sloan’s guilt will get so bad that she nearly blurts out the truth. That’ll probably lead to another close call where Sloan makes excuses and covers up what she really means in the end.
Of course, Eric is a good guy who won’t want to see Sloan struggling like this. It’ll be easy for Eric to assume Sloan is still wrongfully blaming herself for the miscarriage, so he may try to distract her with wedding plans.
Eric was surprised to hear that newly engaged Nicole was set to marry EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) very soon. EJ has been working on getting the marriage license, so he’s hoping this wedding will happen any day now.
Eric might be inspired to fast-track his own wedding to Sloan, especially if she starts acting like she doesn’t deserve him or that she’s holding him back.
It’d be risky for Sloan to get pregnant again due to her autoimmune disorder and risk of blood clots.
Days spoilers say that’s something else Sloan will feel guilty about since she may not be able to give Eric a child – unlike Nicole, who’s already got Eric’s bun in the oven.
Eric might assure Sloan that he wants her whether they have children or not and could suggest they marry ASAP to prove it.
Since Sloan’s guilt is really taking a toll, could she even get through a marriage ceremony in this state? It’s possible Sloan could confess at the altar and derail the nuptials in the process.
Then again, someone else might interrupt this Days wedding with the truth and make Sloan a desperate bride who’s scrambling to explain!
Either way, Sloan and Eric’s wedding day might be a good opportunity for her downfall. Will that be when the real paternity news finally comes out?
