DOOL spoilers for the week of August 28 reveal that Dick Van Dyke will appear in the soap. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) sees the man in a wheelchair.
Kayla approaches the man and asks his name, but Van Dyke’s character has amnesia.
Not only will Kayla try to help Van Dyke’s character, but so does Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).
Then, during the week of September 4, the mysterious amnesiac will meet Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes).

Elsewhere, Belle Brady (Martha Madison) urges Brady not to press charges.
