Jada Rips Into Shawn, Exposes Talia Secret – Belle Overhears?
Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates reveal Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) rips into Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and exposes his secret, possibly in earshot of Belle Brady (Martha Madison). It’s easy to assume that this all takes place in the Salem Police Department, even though Jada promised her sister she wouldn’t tell what happened between her and Shawn.
Shawn and Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) had grief sex after getting drunk at Brady’s Pub, no one who knew them on bar duty, and had gone upstairs.
Even though Talia and Shawn agreed to keep their regretful tryst a secret, Jada took her sister to task first, after quickly deducing the true situation.
As a result, Shawn had after much resistance agreed to start going to AA meetings and work on his problems, the first meeting to be accompanied by Belle.
Now, things have seemed to calm down just a little bit, even though the fallout of the Kiriakis family secret after Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) funeral affects Shawn.
In the meantime, Talia has tried to move on past the incident, but suddenly a complication occurs, one she can’t ignore.
Talia and Shawn have been trying to avoid each other, but sometimes their paths must intersect and this is one of those times!
Like the situation Jada once found herself in when she was dating Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), Talia finds herself pregnant! She would really her sister didn’t get involved, but she knows Jada is protective and probably will – and Shawn would do anything for Belle not to find out he’d cheated.
Talia decides she has to reveal her condition, and has a pregnancy test at the hospital as well – just to be sure, since home tests sometimes fail. She makes the mistake of looking for Shawn at the SPD, thinking Jada’s not yet back from an overseas job with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) but they’re back.
In the meantime, Belle is also there, getting ready to meet with a client who’s gotten in a spot of trouble. She’s nowhere near where Talia comes looking for Shawn, and as she tells him about the baby, Shawn really gets worried – there was a situation back a few years ago.
It turned out to not be his baby after all, but he doesn’t tell Talia about that – the devil impersonating Belle would be a little difficult to explain to her.
It’s bad enough that situation almost broke him and Belle up for good – and that time, Belle cheated on him. But just then, Jada appears, having heard the whole conversation!
It’s too much for Jada to keep quiet about, and she tells her sister to leave as this is between her and Shawn. She intends to keep it quiet, but remembering her own situation she doesn’t think it’s something her sister can handle emotionally, and so she rips into Shawn!
Jada gets loud as she tells Shawn if he hadn’t gotten drunk and taken Talia to bed, this situation wouldn’t be happening – and then, Belle appears, in shock, and demands an explanation!
Surely Talia will demand one of Jada as well, because this puts her in the middle of Shawn and Belle, who defended her when she was in trouble.
