EJ In Danger, Clyde Puts Out A Hit?

Clyde has already blackmailed Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) into running his drugs on the outside, and the last thing he needs is EJ ratting on him of what he knows.

Revenge is the name of the game for Clyde, as well as making sure no one knows he shot EJ, when he was the one moving drugs for him.
EJ never wants that drug dealing information to get out, it could literally ruin his life-EJ is a lawyer now and has a baby on the way-or so he thinks.
Clyde may be in Statesville for life for the murder of Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) anyway but he’s got loyal henchmen on the outside who’ll do his bidding.
EJ has his own contacts and that’s plain, considering he hired one to kill Ava while she was still in Bayview, but she and Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) found his mother.
The one thing Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) couldn’t remember is who took her from the bottom of the cliff to London, and dropped her off with Edmund Crumb (Adam Caine).

Another reason Clyde has to take out EJ is for the simple reason his mother might remember who took her from the bottom of the cliff-that was Clyde!
If EJ were to find out, he might launch a preemptive strike inside the prison, contacting one of his cohorts on the inside to do the job.
Both men have vengeful, duplicitous sides and both have a side that is borderline sociopathic-especially Clyde, but EJ’s come pretty close as well.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: EJ DiMera Might Be Lucky
EJ doesn’t realize that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is keeping an eye on him-not for personal reasons, but for police surveillance.
He just might be lucky that Rafe has a tail on him, because if Clyde’s ordered a hit, the police tail might save his life. Even better, that tail might wind up being Harris, who Kate Brady’s (Lauren Koslow) trying to fast track into the Salem Police Department.
The SPD is shorthanded with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) leaving to get into treatment and lots of cases still to be closed, including that of Susan’s being taken to London.
Scotland Yard’s taking care of Crumb, her ex-husband and captor, but exactly who took her there is being investigated, and once that mystery is solved, so is the main case.
