Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) may decide there could be some truth to Nicole Walker-DiMera’s (Arianne Zucker) shocking claims. Although EJ will initially dismiss Nicole’s accusations about Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) stealing her son, he may eventually see her point

After all, Days spoilers indicate a lot of clues are piling up. Nicole’s baby mysteriously disappeared before she was told he didn’t survive internal injuries from the car crash.

The newborn was conveniently cremated by mistake according to Dr. Pierce (Steve Mize) – and now Eric’s just received a bouncing baby boy.

On Days and in a town like Salem, all of those hints should logically add up to trouble.

Everything about this situation has been suspicious, so EJ might decide to carry out a secret investigation – even after the manipulated DNA results don’t support Nicole’s theory.

That would be in line with this DOOL character since EJ’s the kind of guy who carries out schemes and gets things done.

Days fans know EJ has plenty of resources to look into this, so he could follow the adoption trail and smell a scam from a mile away.

It may not be long until EJ confronts Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) and accuses her of helping Sloan steal Nicole’s child.

That could bring a heated confrontation where Melinda tries to deny it while EJ blasts her and calls out her motives.

EJ might point to the feud he’s had with Melinda over the years along with the fact that he just took over her old job as DA.

Perhaps EJ will assume punishing him was part of why Melinda was willing to do this.

Sloan also happens to be Melinda’s only friend, so that offers another motive to make Sloan a mom and rob Nicole of this baby.

However, EJ may think a lot of it boils down to him and Melinda’s desire to make him suffer.

EJ might bring up Melinda’s issues with the DiMera family and act like she was intent on keeping this child away from his own flesh and blood.

Of course, that’s when Melinda could blurt out that the baby doesn’t even belong to EJ!

Once Melinda’s backed into a corner, her only hope may be to tell EJ the real paternity news and convince him that the truth will destroy his marriage.

Melinda can paint a picture of Nicole and Eric happily reuniting over their bundle of joy while EJ’s left all alone.

If EJ’s determined to expose the bogus adoption and take Melinda down, she may vow to confess the paternity deception and make it so Nicole heads right back to Eric.

Would that be enough to ensure EJ’s silence – no matter how cruel it might be to keep Nicole away from her son?
