Days of Our Lives Recap: Tuesday, December 12 – Alex Plays Love Doctor – Chad Assumes the Worst – Leo Vows Revenge

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 12, reveals that Nicole Walker-DiMera (Arianne Zucker) wondered why Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) tried to act like her baby was alive, but EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) was sure Leo was trying to exploit their tragedy for personal gain somehow.

Although Nicole believed the DNA test, she still questioned if there could be something more to Leo’s claims.

EJ acted like Leo was just a pest and admitted to decking him when he snuck back in the mansion through the DiMera tunnels.

Nicole also mentioned her encounter with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Jude Brady, so she cried since this was all too much for her.

Even so, Nicole wanted to make things up to Eric and Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty), so she headed to the town square and bought Jude a Santa baby sleeper as a gift.

Outside the pub on Tuesday’s Days episode, Jada met Jude and congratulated Eric on becoming a father.

Things got a little awkward, so Jada asked if they could change the subject.

Since Jada had a big box in her hands, Eric questioned what was inside. Jada confessed that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) asked her to move in

Although Jada hadn’t given Rafe an answer yet, she packed up some of her stuff to make the move easier just in case.

Eric was glad things were going well for Jada and Rafe since he only wanted her to be happy. Jada wanted the same for Eric, so she was pleased over his new family with Sloan and Jude.

At home on Tuesday’s DOOL show, Leo informed Sloan that Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) told him that she stole Nicole’s baby.

Now Leo owned Sloan, so he warned that she’d have to be like a trained hound and give him whatever he wanted.

For starters, Leo ordered Sloan to get Dimitri out of prison, but she said that was impossible and bickered with him until Eric arrived.

Once Leo suggested he was just leaving and took off, Eric asked Sloan what that parasite wanted.

Sloan claimed that Leo was pestering her to get Dimitri a better deal and didn’t take the news well when she couldn’t.

Afterward, Nicole and EJ dropped by unexpectedly to deliver the baby sleeper that Nicole purchased.

EJ took Eric off to the side and thanked him since Nicole needed to do this for her own healing.

Sloan seemed uncomfortable as she tried to play nice with Nicole, who watched Jude sleep and understood that Sloan couldn’t wake up to put the outfit on.

In the town square, Leo wondered what he’d do now that he had no money and no conscience.

Once Leo made a call, he learned Dimitri had been transferred to a supermax prison and flipped out.

Leo was certain this was Sloan’s doing, so he vowed to blow up her world in retaliation.

Next on Tuesday’s Days episode, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) comforted Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) over her breakup from Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and knew she deserved a real commitment.

That said, it was obvious Stephanie still loved Chad, so Steve hinted that maybe she could give him another chance after his latest blunder.

In the town square, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) told Chad he was truly sorry about what happened with Stephanie.

Chad lashed out at Alex briefly before deciding he shouldn’t take his anger out on him.

It was Chad’s own fault that he blew it with Stephanie, so he seemed remorseful and down in the dumps.

Chad also crossed paths with Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), who wanted Chad and Stephanie to handle a new campaign for a healthy Salem.

Chad admitted things were up in the air when it came to his work at SJPR since he just split from Stephanie.

Paulina hated to hear that since she shipped Stephanie and Chad hard.

When Paulina realized Chad hadn’t talked to Stephanie since the breakup, she pushed him to have a real conversation with her.

Back with Stephanie, she got a visit from Alex and let him know she’d be focusing on other things besides her dating life.

Alex assured Stephanie that he was dating Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) now, so he wasn’t there to win her back.

In fact, Alex put in a good word for Chad since he looked so miserable in the town square earlier.

Stephanie looked miserable too, so Alex hinted that maybe there was still a chance for them to work things out.

Alex also returned Stephanie’s giant water container, which she wound up dropping on her toe.

Stephanie feared she had broken it and hobbled around with Alex holding her up.

When Chad appeared and took in the scene, he acted like Stephanie and Alex had wasted no time!

Stephanie fumed over Chad’s wrong assumption about what was going on and decided to drive herself to the hospital to have her toe checked out.

Chad realized he’d jumped to conclusions and had blown it yet again with Stephanie, so Alex suggested they should get some of Steve’s beers out of the fridge.

At the pub on Tuesday’s Days episode, Steve caught up with Jada, who was having a rough day – partly because of her encounter with Eric and the memories it brought back.

However, Jada felt she was mostly feeling down because of this day’s significance, so Steve recalled that it was the anniversary of her father’s passing.

Steve talked about Marcus Hunter (Richard Biggs) being his first best friend and showed off the keychain that Marcus made for him when they were young boys.

After Steve assured Jada that Marcus would be proud of her, he pulled her into a warm embrace.
