Days of Our Lives Recap: Monday, November 20 – Xander & Sarah’s Kiss Interrupted – Ava Shoots Gil – Paulina’s Demand

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, November 20, reveals that Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) took a phone call from Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), who asked him to meet up for a drink later.

After Harris agreed and locked in plans with Ava, he spoke to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) over lunch at the pub.

Rafe wanted Harris to keep investigating the Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) case on the down low since he didn’t believe Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) was guilty.

However, Mayor Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) overheard and made it clear that everything had to be done by the book – or else both Rafe and Harris would be out of jobs.

Instead, Paulina wanted Harris and Rafe to focus on Salem’s increase in drug trafficking.

There were rumblings about a new cartel setting up shop, so Paulina wanted the cops’ energy focused on figuring out who was behind it.

Once Paulina was gone, Harris told Rafe he was still willing to look into Li’s case. Rafe was against the idea since he didn’t think it was fair to make Harris jeopardize his new job.

At home on Monday’s Days episode, Ava answered the door to Gil Carter (David S. Lee), who informed her about a low-level drug dealer being arrested with some product on him.

It was important to steal that proof back, so Gil told Ava to swipe Harris’ key to the police evidence room.

Ava explained why that was too risky and insisted she wouldn’t do it. Gil said he’d have to tell Clyde Weston (James Read) that she refused unless maybe she did something for him in return.

After Gil talked about Ava being attractive and sashaying around the restaurant for attention, he made it clear that he wanted to sleep with her.

Ava resisted, so Gil grabbed her and acted like they had a lot in common.

Once Ava pretended to soften and get on board with the idea, she grabbed Gil’s gun and pulled it on him.

Gil didn’t think Ava would actually pull the trigger, but she indeed fired a shot at him when he made another move.

Harris showed up at that exact moment and burst in with his own gun drawn, so he found Ava still pointing the weapon toward Gil’s seemingly deceased body.

At the Kiriakis mansion on Monday’s DOOL show, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) pushed Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) away after he planted a kiss on her.

Maggie demanded to know what on earth Konstantin was doing, so he apologized profusely and acted ashamed of making a play for Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) widow while she was grieving.

Although Maggie acted like they could just forget it ever happened, Konstantin insisted he needed to fix this by returning to Greece.

Konstantin privately beat himself up over taking too big of a gamble, but then he decided maybe it would pay off.

In the living room, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) officially called off the custody suit and admitted he wanted to raise Victoria Horton with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), who confessed that’s what she wanted, too.

Just as Xander and Sarah were about to kiss, Maggie interrupted them and got updates on the custody case getting dropped.

Once Konstantin appeared after packing, Sarah helped Maggie convince Konstantin to stay through Christmas since he’d been so helpful to their family.

Although there was bad blood between them, even Xander admitted Konstantin really came through for them by saving Victoria.

In private, Konstantin got Maggie’s reassurance that she truly wanted him to stay and seemed pleased about it.

At Titan on Monday’s Days episode, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) grilled Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) after overhearing part of her phone call about something blowing up in her face.

Theresa claimed this was about sleeping with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) in Greece since he was now her boss.

Brady wondered if it only happened that one time, so Theresa thought maybe he was jealous.

After Brady denied it on Monday’s Days show, Alex arrived and wondered if everything was OK. Theresa assured Alex that everything was fine, so Alex was eager to strategize with them both.

Brady insisted he had to take off to testify in Sarah and Xander’s custody feud, but then he got a call about the case getting dropped.

Once Brady explained about the kidnapping that happened beforehand, Alex was appalled and wondered what maniac would kidnap a baby like that.

Theresa looked guilty and nervous, especially when Alex said he hoped the cops would catch the guy and nail him to the wall!

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Theresa will battle even more guilt along the way, so stick with us for details on all the escalating chaos.
