Count… Us… In: Young & Restless Reveals Plans for a Special Episode You’re Going to Love — and Phyllis Is Going to Despise

Well this is a surprise we certainly weren’t expecting — and of the best kind, too! The Young and the Restless just announced that they’ll be celebrating four decades of Lauralee Bell’s Christine with a very special episode in November! While we’ve known this was her landmark 40th year with the show, Bell began her run as a 13-year-old Cricket back on July 15 of 1983 and we celebrated the milestone over the summer.

It looks like the show, though, was holding off until they could kick off November sweeps with the special anniversary! Young & Restless teased the episode by explaining that “Christine receives a little help from her friends as she finds herself at a crossroads professionally and romantically.”

Well, that definitely makes sense as she navigates a split from Paul and the return of her first husband and longtime love, Danny! Even better, Tricia Cast will be back with Nina to join Michael Damian and Bell for the special episode that’s going to be packed full of classic clips covering everything from her romantic drama to her rivalry with Phyllis. Hey, maybe this is the day she’ll finally get the redhead for running her down with a car!

Though at this point, we might have to wait until her 50th anniversary celebration for that to happen.

The show’s certainly got plenty of ground to cover with Christine — from teen model to kidnapped teen model, romancing Phillip, Michael’s villainous attacks, Isabella nearly murdering her… We can’t wait to see what they dig up for the special!

So mark your calendars and get ready to DVR because on Thursday, November 2, we’ll be celebrating Christine, Cricket and all! And fingers crossed, she comes out of this crossroads with a bold new passion for work and a reignited romance with Danny!
