At Alexis’ office, she concludes an interview with Jordan about city business. Jordan turns their conversation to the latest surrogacy news and wants to know how Alexis feels about it, as she thinks it came out of the blue. Alexis admits she’s had some trouble with this at first, but talked to a friend who helped put it in perspective.

Alexis says Kristina is determined to do this, and Molly and TJ want this, and frankly, they don’t get a vote on this. Alexis points out it’s unfair to ask Kristina to put her life on hold indefinitely, and Molly and TJ want this baby as soon as possible, so they can’t tell them to wait on it. Alexis says the kids will be fantastic parents. Jordan says she is going to try and get on board like her and support them. Plus, she can’t wait to hold her first grandchild.

Blaze shows up knocking on Kristina’s door. Kristina, flying out of her bed and bedroom, answers the door and Blaze asks what the big news is. Confused, Kristina says, “huh?”

Kristina invites her in, and Blaze reminds her that she sent her a text about her big news and then went radio silent. Kristina apologizes and says things got hectic. She says the big news is that she is having a baby. She explains all the circumstances to Blaze and asks if she thinks she’s crazy for doing this. Blaze says she is a very generous person, and she’s talked a lot about giving Molly what she wants, but what does Kristina want?

Kristina feels this is something she needs to do not just for Molly and TJ, but for herself. Blaze is inspired by her. Kristina is thankful she is supportive of this decision, and it’s a big change for the two of them. She stammers, “If there is a me and you.”

Kristina says if Blaze wants to bow out before she’s the size of the house, now is the time. Blaze says she always looks amazing and will look amazing when she’s pregnant. Blaze takes her hand and says she likes her and is still interested in seeing where this goes. Kristina likes her too, and they kiss. Blaze has to meet her choreographer but suggests they should meet later and celebrate before she has to give up alcohol for nine months. Blaze heads out.

At the Deception office, Brook Lynn brings Maxie coffee. Maxie warns her that Lucy will lose it if she sees her here. Brook Lynn reveals she’s not just delivering coffee, she’s coming back to work. Maxie is confused and asks why she isn’t focused on her music management. Brook Lynn explains she’s coming back to work to gain control of the company and give it to her. Brook Lynn reveals Tracy told her that she schemed to get Deception for her, and she initially turned her down. However, she decided to take Tracy up on her offer, and she will somehow find a way to give Deception back to Maxie. As she asks what Maxie thinks, Lucy enters and asks, “Who let the spy back in!”

Lucy lashes out at Brook Lynn, accusing her of coming here to steal more intel. Brook Lynn says it’s not stealing if Tracy owns the company, and Lucy screams that Tracy needs to stay away and so does she. Brook Lynn points out she has more of a right to be here than Lucy does. Maxie tries to calm them down, but they keep throwing insults at one another. Lucy yells that she created Deception, and Brook Lynn says that she almost tanked it and ran it into the ground, and she should thank Tracy for saving it. Lucy says she’ll never thank Tracy or her, and all that matters is Maxie. She cries she took Tracy’s deal to help Maxie out. Brook Lynn says since Tracy wants her here, she is staying. Lucy tells Maxie this is her problem now, as she’ll never deal with anyone who flat-out lied to her and spied on her.

Lucy storms out, and Brook Lynn was expecting that not to go well, but that was on another level. Maxie says she can’t blame Lucy. Brook Lynn says Lucy can take her issues up with Tracy, though they both know Tracy will flatten her. Maxie is confused as she thought Brook Lynn wanted to give them back the company. Brook Lynn only wants to give it to Maxie. She wants Maxie to have sole control to run it as she sees and away from Lucy’s shenanigans. Maxie suggests they not get ahead of themselves, and they don’t even have the company back yet. Brook Lynn knows together they can do anything and are unstoppable, so they will get Deception back.

Cody shows up at the stables and finds a present left for him on the table. He says if this is from Santa he’s a little early. Sasha hides around the corner. Cody sneaks around trying to find her, but she evades him for a bit before revealing herself. She says the gift is from her, and he asks if he must wait till Christmas to open it. She says that is up to him. He tears it open, and it’s a book on Monument Valley, where they’ll be going on their shoot. He has always wanted to go there, and it’s ironic his trip will be for a photo shoot and the last thing he thought he’d be was a model. She says not to sell himself short, he’s getting good at it. He thinks he and the rocks will be a backdrop for her beauty to shine. She smiles.

Cody wishes he had something for her, but she says he saved her life and she’ll always be grateful to him. He asks her to stop saying that, as he doesn’t want her feel like she owes him, he wants her to like him. She says he knows she does as he heard her tell it to Maxie. Cody also knows she’s grieving still. He doesn’t want her to rush through that to give him something he wants. He says he is okay with just being friends and co-workers for the time being. Sasha says as his friend, he needs to stop being so hard on himself, and that he’s pretty great.

Cody reveals he actually did get her something, however, it’s just not here yet, but he was told it would arrive before Christmas. Sasha can’t wait and says patience isn’t her strong point. She goes to put her coat on, and he helps her with it. They come very close to a kiss, staring into one another’s eyes. Sasha says she should get going and hurriedly heads out. Cody looks at the book, that Sasha signed to her friend Cody.

Robert and Diane are at the bistro café and she’s hard at work. Robert can’t help but ask how he was given it was their first-time last night and she’s said nothing. Diane screams out, “You were magnificent!” He says he didn’t need a grand gesture, just to know that she enjoyed herself. She tells him that she only exaggerates in court, so Robert says, “Let the record show we both enjoyed themselves.”

Diane asks what they should refer to each other as, boyfriend/girlfriend, partner, lover, or adult companion? Robert says can’t they just say they are involved? Diane suggests they say they are dating, and asks if they are exclusive. Robert notes he likes exclusivity, and they discuss his past loves and relationships, and also his dedication to the women from his past. Diane needs to know she will be his priority, and he assures her that she will.

Sonny and Donna are at home, and Donna asks her dad what he wants for Christmas. He has everything he wants, but she wants to get him a special present. Sonny says they should focus on shopping for others today. Donna asks about Grandpa Mike and asks to see his photo. Sonny shows her a photo of Mike, and she asks about the hat Mike is wearing in the photo. Sonny tells her that it was his dad’s favorite hat. Sadly he says it seems to have gotten lost.

Michael shows up to pick up Donna and take her shopping. Sonny says he has an appointment to go to, but he’ll meet them later. Sonny heads off, and Donna asks Michael about wishing on a star. He says even though it’s daytime, the stars are still there and can hear her. She looks out the window and up at the sky and says though she can’t see a star, she wishes to find Grandpa Mike’s cap for Daddy for Christmas.

Michael and Donna go shopping, and she worries her wish might not come true. If so, what does she give Daddy for Christmas? He suggests they find a backup gift just in case. Suddenly Donna finds Mike’s cap just sitting on a bench in the plaza.

In Laura’s office, Martin visits her and asks about the Austin murder investigation and any developments. She says if he’s wondering if Cyrus is still a suspect, well he is. They both agree they find themselves wanting to believe in his innocence, and Martin says his brother will never give up on family, something he has in common with Laura. Still, Laura says if Cyrus killed Austin then he must be prosecuted. Martin says what he does know is proving himself to her is Cyrus’ top priority, so why would he throw it away by murdering Austin?

Laura invites Sonny to her office, and he knows that inviting him here could open her up to charges of corruption. Laura says she has nothing to hide, and not to worry about her. She invited him here to talk about the murder case involving Austin. She knows Dante is helping the Pautauk PD, but Sonny says he and Dante don’t speak about each other’s work. Laura knows Sonny spoke to Dante. She says Dante claimed he has a source that Austin and Mason worked for Cyrus, and she knows he was the source.

Laura asks if Cyrus is a murderer. Sonny says Cyrus has murdered in the past, and he doesn’t buy this religious conversion of his, but he doesn’t think Cyrus killed Austin. Laura asks if Cyrus couldn’t have done so to keep Austin from turning him into Dante. Sonny doesn’t think Cyrus has the means anymore to surveil anyone, let alone men loyal to him. Plus, Sonny notes that Cyrus saw Austin as an asset, one who helped him get out of prison. He hates Cyrus, but he’s not stupid, and he will do everything he can not to go back to prison. Laura thanks him, and it’s a relief to know Sonny doesn’t think he killed Austin.

Martin returns later, and Laura tells him about her meeting with Sonny. She is surprised at how much she wants Cyrus to turn his life around. Martin thinks it’s possible now that he has her in his corner.

Sonny meets up with Michael and Donna in the plaza. Donna surprises him with Mike’s hat. Michael explains it was sitting on the bench, and nobody knows where it came from, but it’s Mike’s cap. Donna says she wished for it, and it came true. Sonny says Mike believed in magic and wishes too. He looks up and misses his dad.

On the next General Hospital: Gregory advises Alexis to go for it. Brook Lynn, with Chase, tells Violet that’s one thing they agree on. Trina tells Esme, “That will never happen.” TJ and Molly meet with Dr. Navarro to start the surrogacy as soon as possible. Blaze offers to make something for Kristina, when she comes over to her place. Anna tells Dante, “Don’t say I didn’t warn you.” Brennan returns to Kelly’s and tells Carly he wants to get to know her better.
