Steffy May Be Back Sooner Than You’d Expect

It’s been only days since Jacqueline MacInnes Wood last aired on The Bold and the Beautiful, and we miss her on screen already. But the actress, who gave birth to her and husband Elan Ruspoli’s fourth son, Valor, on August 27, may be back as Steffy sooner than you might imagine.
In theory, Finn’s better half could be gone for ages — and understandably so. On September 7, she took off for Rome rather than stick around Los Angeles and let her monster-in-law make unwanted house calls. Since the powers that be seem fully committed to keeping Sheila front and center at all times — despite the fact that she’s running out of characters that she hasn’t shot, kidnapped or otherwise terrorized — it could conceivably never be safe for Steffy to return.
Thankfully, we all know that she will be back once Wood is done with her maternity leave… which may not be all that long. The Emmy winner told Soaps.com after the arrival of baby No. 3, Brando, that “people always seem surprised by how quickly I come back.” But she and Ruspoli “both believe it’s important to have a strong work/life balance. So we make sure to carve out time for each other, time with the kids, and time for ourselves.
“That includes work,” she added. “I love my job, and everyone at the show is so supportive. It’s the perfect environment for working parents, because everyone there ‘gets’ it.”
Fingers crossed that when Wood brings Steffy back to L.A., the character’s mom Taylor is with her. (As it is, we don’t know when we’ll see Krista Allen on screen again!)
