Ridge Dangles Steffy as Bait for Liam
Bold and the Beautiful had Ridge Forrester making a mad dash to Liam Spencer, so he could inform him about Steffy Forrester‘s decision to move back home. Even Liam seemed a bit perplexed as to why Ridge was there delivering this news as if it were urgent.

It’s no secret that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) doesn’t want his daughter to move back in with her husband. He doesn’t believe Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is safe there.
It’s not that he doesn’t like Finn. No, Ridge likes John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) but his ties with his birth mother already caused near-fatal results. Ridge doesn’t want to repeat that with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) ever again.
While Ridge and his father Eric Forrester (John McCook) tried to talk Steffy out of this decision, it was to no avail. So, it looks like Ridge planted a seed in Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) head.
B&B Spoilers: Liam Spencer Takes It All In
There’s not much Ridge won’t do to protect his family on Bold and Beautiful. He is very worried about Steffy and his grandchildren today. It may be unethical for a father to interfere in his daughter’s happy marriage. But it looks like Ridge decides to steep that low all for the sake of keeping them safe.
Liam already confessed to Ridge that he loves Steffy Forrester. He also knows that Liam’s marriage to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) went down the drain. So, it’s not as if he’s ruining Liam’s marriage. He took care of that himself.
So, now the seed is planted, and Ridge likely sits back and waits to see if it sprouts. But in the meantime, he could find himself in hot water if Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) gets wind of this on Bold and the Beautiful.
Bold and the Beautiful: Will Liam Try to Break Up Steffy’s Marriage?
Ridge Forrester never said what his motive was when he ran to give the news to Liam Spencer. But B&B fans didn’t need this spelled out for them. Many see the dressmaker as a worried father doing everything in his power to keep Steffy safe from Sheila Carter.
Bold and the Beautiful had Sheila lurking at Steffy Forrester’s sliding doors on Friday’s cliffhanger. Once this news gets out next week it’s likely Liam will get involved, despite Finn warning him to stay away from his wife. It is also likely Brooke finds out Ridge is hoping that the waffler ends up with Steffy.
Brooke still holds on to a dream that her daughter Hope Logan reconciles her marriage. So, if she believes Ridge is doing something to undermine that, well… sparks would fly. If you think about it, what other possible motive could Ridge Forrester have? He ran to Liam Spencer to tell him about Steffy Forrester’s decision before she moved a bag back home.
Sure Steffy and Liam share a daughter together, but she would let Liam Spencer know where they were living. It seems there was another motive for this concerned father’s sprint to his ex-son-in-law. Some fans think it was to bait Liam Spencer to stop something that Ridge Forrester couldn’t do on the CBS soap.
