Eric Wills Himself to Live as Hidden Agenda Revealed

Bold and the Beautiful: Eric Forrester (John McCook)

Bold and the Beautiful has Eric Forrester knowing that he is going to die, but as he says on the CBS soap, everyone is going to die one day. The diagnosis is still somewhat of a mystery, but his life expectancy is not.

So far, all B&B fans know about him healthwise, is the doctor’s prognosis gives him about six months left on Earth. But the B&B fans don’t have a name for what ails him or even what pain he may face as his expiration time nears.

Bold and the Beautiful: Eric Forrester Stares Death in the Face?

Whatever ails Eric Forrester (John McCook) doesn’t seem to rattle him this week on B&B. He won’t take what the doctor dishes out about death looming. He especially won’t take the warning that this father-son competition may very well kill him.

This doesn’t sound anything like Eric’s last bout with health problems on Bold and the Beautiful. Back then his cure was a brush against Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) and he got movement. So, that became the medicine that cured Honey Bear’s ED.

At least back then the Bold and Beautiful audience knew what he was dealing with. Today Donna is in tears about the pending death of Eric Forrester, but there’s still some mystery about this.

All fans really have to go by is Donna’s reaction to what the doctor said. Then she tells Katie Logan (Heather Tom) that the doctor gave Eric Forrester six months to live.

But from what Eric says on Bold and the Beautiful this week, he decided to go against the doctor’s orders. Instead, he comes up with a plan of his own. He won’t crawl into bed or sit in front of the TV waiting for death to come. No, he plans to go out with a bang after he wins this competition.

He also believes that the doctor can’t set his life expectancy clock. He refuses to buy that the clock ticks for the next six months and then abruptly stops. Instead, he’s going to take each day as it comes.

Plus he tells Donna he could be around many more years despite the doctor’s prognosis. So, it looks like the Forrester patriarch intends on willing himself to live.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Ridge Forrester Ruining FC Legacy

Eric Forrester seems to have a wonderful outlook as he faces a looming death prognosis. But part of his defiance when it comes to doctor’s orders is due to his son.

Eric finally reveals why he is so bent on showing Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) that his father still reigns. He told his secret to Katie and Donna this week on Bold and the Beautiful.

Eric doesn’t like the direction that Ridge is taking FC. Instead of the elegant classic designs that his father built his empire on, Ridge got too trendy.

So, Eric said it on a recent Bold and the Beautiful episode, he doesn’t feel his legacy is in good hands with Ridge. This seems to drop a hint of things to come. Now with this death sentence hovering over Eric, he could get all his ducks in a row before he dies. Or if you listen to him, in case he dies.

He’s already said that he doesn’t trust Ridge with the legacy of FC. But it looks like he will trust RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) to carry on his vision. This could stir up the Forrester family in the future.

B&B Spoilers: Eric’s Will to Live Driven By FC Future

But for now, he’s disturbed by where Ridge is going. So, Eric is doing this collection to bring FC back to its roots in classic designs. It looks as if this was Eric’s hidden agenda all along, to put FC back on the right track.

But until Eric falls flat on his back, it looks like he won’t even think about what the doctor said. Still, if there was ever a character from Bold and the Beautiful who could will himself to live, that would be Eric Forrester. Who knows, miracles and even mistakes with diagnoses happen on this CBS soap.
