What happened today on The Bold and the Beautiful: Separately, Ridge and R.J. struggle with their guilt over Eric. Eric has a health scare at the Forrester CEO’s office.

At the office, Brooke compliments Ridge on being a good son. Steffy enters and asks if they are discussing Eric. They both express their wish to be there for him. Ridge informs them that he noticed Eric’s hand shaking earlier. Steffy praises Ridge for sacrificing his office and letting Eric believe that he won the fashion challenge. Brooke calls this selfless act meaningful to Eric. Ridge declares that he would do anything for Eric after everything he has done for him throughout his life.
Ridge confesses that he failed to notice anything unusual when Eric insisted on creating his own line. He admits that he was unaware of his father’s condition because nobody informed him. Ridge doesn’t blame RJ for not telling him since he knows that RJ has a lot on his plate. Steffy is grateful that Ridge told her and Thomas about Eric’s condition. She shares that she confided in Eric when she couldn’t talk to her parents, and he provided her with invaluable advice. She can’t bear the thought of him not being around anymore.
Brooke emphasizes the importance of not upsetting Eric and suggests that they continue to pretend that they don’t know about his condition. They hope that Eric continues to enjoy designing but doesn’t overdo it. Suddenly, RJ interrupts them, informing them that something happened in the CEO’s office, and now the doctor is with Eric. RJ fears that Eric’s condition is worsening. Ridge questions why are they doing this, they should be there for Eric.
B&B Recap Today
Donna is in the CEO’s office, watching as RJ and Eric collaborate on a design. RJ expresses how much he has learned from his granddad, and Eric says he has learned a lot from RJ as well. Donna is confident that the new design will turn out perfectly.
Suddenly, Eric appears to be pale and almost collapses. RJ and Donna rush to assist him. Donna advises him to sit down, and Eric insists he is okay, just having a senior moment. However, Donna calls the doctor anyway, and Eric tries to talk her out of it.
Donna tells Dr. Colby that it is urgent, and Eric continues to protest, saying it was just a dizzy moment and nothing to worry about. RJ tells him they love him and want to make sure he is okay.
Eric wants to continue working until the doctor arrives, but RJ and Donna advise against it. RJ suggests Eric should go home, but he refuses, saying this is what makes him feel alive. Donna thinks that maybe his energy is depleted, but Eric insists he is fine.
Donna pleads with Dr. Colby for help, noting that Eric is still coughing up blood. Dr. Colby examines Eric and inquires about his current symptoms. Eric dismisses it as low blood sugar, but Dr. Colby explains that nearly losing consciousness is a serious issue and could indicate a more severe underlying problem. The doctor thinks he needs to go to the hospital. However, Eric refuses to go, as it is the middle of the workday. Donna suggests that he might feel better if he goes to the hospital. Eric insists that he wants to stay at work and enjoy every moment of his life. As Dr. Colby leaves, Donna becomes emotional. Eric comforts her and reassures her that she will be okay no matter what happens.
