At Last! Bold & Beautiful Reveals the Truth About Luna
Ever since Bold & Beautiful introduced the character of Luna, she’s been shrouded in mystery — heck, even she doesn’t seem to know her whole story. Why is mom Poppy so adamant that she steer clear of the Forresters? Why is aunt Li downright ferocious on the subject?
In the Wednesday, Oct. 18, episode, we’re finally going to find out. Finn, understandably confused about why his mom is all “Get outta here!” with his cousin, at last wears her down to the point that she tells the truth, the whole truth and, we can only hope, nothing but the truth. What is it, though?
No, That’s Too Obvious
Many a viewer — us included — has been assuming that Luna is a byproduct of a long-ago fling between Poppy and Ridge. But that can’t be the case since the show is pairing up the newcomer and the dressmaker’s son, R.J. Series co-creator William J. Bell would’ve flirted with that notion once upon a time — remember Young & Restless’ Cricket and Scott? — but the Bold & Beautiful of today? No way.
So what, in the end, is the deal? Our suspicion is that free-wheeling Poppy hooked up with silver fox Eric during one of his many estrangements from late wife Stephanie. Li blamed the pregnancy on flighty Poppy, as if Eric had had no part in it, and forbade her sister from informing her one-night stand that he was going to be a daddy.
Now, Li is freaked out, for fear that the truth will bring shame upon the family. But since Ridge is a Marone, not a Forrester, there’s no problem with Luna and R.J. dating. Plus, at some point, Eric is sure to need a bone-marrow transplant or something, and who will turn out to be a match but Luna?
