As Young & Restless’ Jack and Diane Exchange Vows, Fans Cry ‘Foul!’
In a Young & Restless preview for the week of October 9 – 13, it’s Jack and Diane’s wedding day, but not everyone is happy. Read what happens and watch the preview below.
Ever since blowing back into Genoa City, and Jack and Kyle’s life, Phyllis, the Newmans, and even some Abbotts have tried to warn Jack what a mistake it would be to get back into bed, so to speak, with Diane. However he fell in love with the changed Diane he saw before him, and even Kyle accepted his mother back into his life. Though Jack and Diane are already married in a small private ceremony, they’ve decided to exchange vows again in front of friends and family.
As Kyle officiates his parents’ marriage, Diane tells Jack that he’s shown her what it means to be a true partner. Jack affirms that he loves Diane with all his heart, now and always. Traci toasts the couple and their incredible love. Surprisingly, it seems the event goes off without a problem! Well, some have a problem with the nuptials, and we’re not speaking of Phyllis.
Response to the video on Instagram has been quick, and many aren’t happy. Viewer kauai64 commented, “I can’t stand watching Jack it’s like he absolutely has no backbone.” Another commenter, yvette12019 added, “Ok. Now it’s time for Diane to show her true colors. So over her.”
Many of the comments over on Twitter, aka X, echoed similar frustrations about Jack and Diane…
But not everyone is against the couple, as there are some who are looking forward to the celebration and what’s to come. On Instagram, lakresha_gilyard said, “I like Jack & Diane together. She makes him happy. Phyllis always seemed torn between Jack and some ex-lover.”
